Nirmala Ramjhuria | International Professional Exposure and HR Planning
Nirmala Ramjhuria has over 25 years of HR experience, including international professional exposure and workforce planning related to telecommunications opportunities. In 2014, she undertook a three-month Commonwealth Professional Fellowship at the Capacity Development Unit of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation at its headquarters in London.
In 2018, she led HR due diligence and related HR planning for Telecom Vanuatu and prospective opportunities in Rwanda and Uganda. These assignments complement her extensive experience in organisational restructuring, workforce planning, employee relations, and HR strategy.
Her professional career includes senior HR positions at Mauritius Telecom and HV Holdings Mauritius and Madagascar, followed by her appointment as Head of HR at EDB Mauritius in October 2025. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Studies from the University of Mauritius and an MBA specialising in Strategy from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Her background combines practical HR leadership with exposure to international professional and business contexts.
